Weekly News 10/26/11

Good beautiful Fall afternoon to you all!!
I have listed you all this time so you can see who gets these notices.  This is pretty much everyone on my E-mail list.  If you do not wish to get the SBA Weekly News just E-mail me and I will remove you from the list.  I don't like getting unwanted stuff so this is an attempt to keep us all friends!!  This is also posted on the Web page so if you want to check it out there instead that is fine. It is under the info tab, Weekly News

This last weekend was an active one in which God's love was shown through many different venues.
1.  The retirement party for the Kanton's was wonderful.  There were about 10 from our SBA churches and Region 4 Team. The rest were family and church family and friends.  What a blessing for them and us.
2.  I have not heard from Foothills on their Women of Faith conference.
3.  Lozier Lane, as I had reported on Monday, had a fantastic Block Party.  What an excitement this brings to the church as a whole.  Not to mention possible new folks.
4.  Sunday The Green's ministered to Trinity and River Bend.  I would recommend them for you next time they make their rounds.

I am sure there was more happening that did not get on my radar.  So I PTL for that as well.

Looking forward to the NWBC Annual Meeting at Eugene, Valley River Inn (800-543-8266).  If you are going and need a room the rate is good through October 31st.  I don't know what it will raise to after that.

I would like to encourage all of you to take part in at least some of these activities as well as the NWBC Annual Meeting.  It only meets this close every few years so take advantage of the great preaching and fellowship time that happens around this once a year event.

As usual please let me know if the info here is incorrect.  Everyone would appreciate it.  Thank you.

I just want to remind you that the SBA Weekly News is on the www.siskiyoubaptist.org web site.  If you don't see what info you want here it may be there.  I am also a phone call away either at 541-956-7588 or my cell 541-659-7261.  Probably the cell phone is the best to call.  Also if you "Like" Siskiyou Baptist Association on Facebook you will get updates and reminders there as well.
